My Story
I’ve been running a marketing agency since 2010, with a small in-house team.
But even with a team in place, there was always more work than we could realistically handle. I found myself working long hours trying to fill the gap.
So, I tested different ways to get additional support, from hiring more employees to working with contractors, vendors, and freelancers.
Each option had its pros and cons. What stood out about freelancers was the flexibility, cost, and access to specialized expertise.
The challenge was getting it right.
At first, it was inconsistent. Projects didn’t always work out, and I spent more time fixing things than I expected.
What changed was the process.
Once I understood how to find the right people, qualify them properly, and communicate clearly, everything improved.
Not because freelancers changed.
But because I developed a system that dramatically improved the results.
